What are camel races?

How does it work?

Join us for this crowd pleasing, one of a kind event which includes pari-mutuel betting on wooden camels. 6 camels race in each heat, on a custom track. Your camel advances 1 space each time their number is rolled on the oversized fuzzy dice. The first camel to advance 10 spaces wins!

Admission is $25 per person, it includes food and an evening of gambling fun. Event is BYOB! Must be 18 years of age to attend and place bets.

Seating is limited. Ticket sales are on a first come basis, and are available at Thumb Industries Thrift Store, Main Office and online. Be sure to purchase your tickets before they are gone.

There are many levels of sponsorship available. 54 Wooden camel silhouettes are available to sponsor for the event and sell out quickly due to the popularity of this event. Individuals, businesses, or organizations are able to sponsor camels and "dress" them for the event. Please see the sponsorship application for details regarding sponsorship.
